Chypre de Coty is the first chypre fragrance created by Francois Coty in 1917. Chypre is the name of the island Cyprus in French, where the goddess of beauty and love, Venus was born.
Chypre posses "mossy-woody" odor. The "mossy-woody" comes from oakmoss which comes from the island of Cyprus.
