Coty (L"Origan)

Introduced in 1905, L'Origan ("marjoram")was the first of Coty's truly great perfumes.
The originality of L’Origan indeed resides in its combination of traditional essences such as bergamot, orange, neroli and ylang ylang with new floral bases and synthetics such as methyl ionone, heliotropin, vanillin, coumarin, civet, vetiveryl acetate, and nitro musks.

Coty (La Jacee)

Jacée is a not so well known flower in perfumery but quite used in old days as a floral prototype. One of the best known fragrance is La Jacée from Coty (1905). La Jacée has an odour between cassie absolute and orris. La Jacee has a lot of heliotropine and some floral notes (rose, jasmine) and a musky vetiver drydown.
